Legacy Business Recognition
Better Tomorrow was recognized by the City of Steamboat Springs and Main Street Steamboat as an official Legacy Business, honoring nearly four decades of mission‑driven work that began in 1983 with what is now Advocates of Routt County. That early community response to domestic violence grew over time to include shelter, a 24/7 SAFEline, prevention education, housing support, and direct assistance.
Today, Better Tomorrow supports four distinct programs—Advocates of Routt County, Brighter World Child Advocacy Center, COMMA Projects, and Queer Futures—united by shared infrastructure and a belief that we are Stronger Together.

Each pursues its own mission, but all share the same core values and infrastructure that make Better Tomorrow unlike any other nonprofit in the region.
