Celebrating Lori Livingston: Answering the Call for Survivors

At Better Tomorrow, we are grateful for volunteers like Lori Livingston, whose compassion and commitment help make SafeLine a true lifeline for people in crisis.

In a recent Steamboat Neighbors article, Lori shares why she became a SafeLine volunteer and reflects on the powerful impact one calm, caring voice can have. Her story is a moving reminder that SafeLine volunteers are trained to listen, offer support, help with safety planning, and connect people to resources when they need it most.

SafeLine is a confidential, 24/7 crisis hotline operated by Advocates of Routt County, a program of Better Tomorrow. Whether someone is experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, trafficking, or simply needs someone to listen, SafeLine is always available at 970-879-8888.

We are proud to celebrate Lori and all SafeLine volunteers who continue to show up with courage, care, and hope for our community.
