From Awareness to Action is a four-day social justice training series presented by Better Tomorrow, October 13–16 at Bud Werner Memorial Library in Steamboat Springs.

Designed for community members, professionals, service providers, educators, nonprofit staff, and anyone interested in creating a safer and more equitable community, the series explores how power, identity, violence, and systems shape our lives and relationships.

The series begins Tuesday with nationally recognized anti-oppression speaker and trainer Regan Byrd, who will lead a full day on Social Identity, Power & Privilege and the Four I’s of Oppression. Additional sessions throughout the week will explore domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual violence and restorative justice, immigrant survivors, LGBTQ+ survivors, and child advocacy and forensic interviews.

Participants do not need to attend all four days. Join for the full series or attend the sessions that best fit your interests and schedule.

Registration is open. A $25 donation is suggested, but cost should not be a barrier to participation.
